It feels like the end of the world Not as in the sense it is ending
Like there is a drop into infinity on the other side.
I’m toe to tip on the edge.
The old house behind me doesn’t care. It can’t see anything with its blank, dark holes. The shining glass had gone.
Light represents hope. There is no hope here, only a sense of infinity.
Thus, no windows.
Once not so long ago, this place would have been humming. Farm hands coming and going.
But all that’s gone,
It represents the edge of the world.
